Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into chunks
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tspn chicken salt
  • 1 tbspns red chilli flakes
  • 1 tspn cracked black pepper
  • 2 tbspns hot sauce
  • 4 tbspn soy sauce
  • 1 tbspn lemon juice
  • 1 large size egg
  • 1 cup corn flour
  • Oil for deep frying

Method:

  • Wash, dry and cut chicken breasts in chunks.
  • Add all the dry ingredients and mix. Add all the sauces and mix again. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Add egg and corn flour and mix again. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in deep fryer to 190 degrees Celsius and fry chicken pieces individually in batches until all done. Each batch frying time should be 4 – 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot with your desired sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 2 kgs skinned chicken pieces
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tbspn red chilli flakes
  • 1 tbspn onion powder
  • 1 tbspn garlic powder
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • ½ cup hot sauce (chilli sauce)
  • 1 tspn chicken powder
  • 1 tspn thyme
  •  1 tspn chives

FOR BATTER

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup corn flour

FOR COATING

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Some salt and pepper to season
  • Some chicken salt to season
  • Oil FOR FRYING

Procedure:

-Marinade chicken pieces in all the spices and sauces given above and refrigerate for 24 hrs.

-Now take it out, mix again, add eggs and corn flour and mix.

-Keep aside for 30 mins.

-Heat oil to 180 degrees Celsius.

-Now mix your coating ingredients in a plate. Take out one chicken piece out of the egg mixture, dredge in flour/ coating mix and keep aside on a tray until all the chicken pieces are coated.

-Deep fry the chicken pieces (4 – 6 at a time) for 20 minutes on medium heat.

-Take out on the cooling rack. Fry the second batch and then the third batch.

-Now serve hot.

Original Recipe Fried Chicken (Buttermilk Fried Chicken)

Buttermilk Fried Chicken (Original Recipe Fried Chicken) is very crunchy and juicy, just like KFC original recipe pieces. Do try this and let me know your crunchy, tasty remarks …

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken, 12 pieces with skin

FOR MARINATION

  • 2 cups yogurt
  • 2 tbspns milk
  • Some salt
  • Some red pepper Flakes
  • ¼ tspn dill tips
  • 1 tspn cracked black pepper

FOR CRUMBS

  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 tbspn corn Flour
  • Some salt
  • 1 tspn cracked black pepper
  • ½ tspn red pepper Flakes
  • ½ tspn chicken powder
  • A pinch of garlic salt (OPTIONAL)
  • A pinch of onion salt (OPTIONAL)
  • Oil For deep Frying

Procedure:

-Combine all the things given For the marination. Add chicken and keep aside For 10 hours.

-Combine all the things given For Crumbs and mix well.

-Heat oil in a deep Fryer.

-Now take one piece out of the buttermilk mixture, coat well with crumbs and Fry on medium heat For 15 minutes/ side.

-Do the same with others.

-When they are golden Brown, take them out on an absorbent paper and serve immediately.

Outcome:

Tasty same to same KFC original recipe chicken pieces are ready to be served.

Tips:

-Keep oil on 170 degrees Celsius.

-Do not let it burn.

-Marinade it For at least 10 hours.
