Besan Ke Laddu (Gram Flour Sweet)


This is one of the Favourite mithai of South Asia. People of India and Pakistan, serve this mithai on happy occasions, do try this at you home and get the real South Asian taste …

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups gram Flour
  • 2 cups clarified butter or ghee
  • 2 cups ground sugar
  • 2 tspn cardamom powder
  • 4 tbspns crushed almonds and pistachios

Procedure:

-Melt the ghee over medium heat and add gram Flour, stir it and let it get light brown. This process may take upto 15 minutes. Add cardamom powder, almonds and pistachios and stir well.

-Remove From Flame and add sugar in it and stir well.

-Allow this mixture to cool.

-Now make golf ball sized spheres out of this dough. Place them on a greased Flat tray until they set well and then serve as Mithai.

Outcome:

Tasty gram Flour sweet is ready to be served with tea.

-Stir each and everything very well.

Servings:

This will serve 6 persons easily.
