Ingredients:

  • 2 potatoes sliced thinly
  • 2 cups gram Flour
  • ¾ cup water
  • Some salt
  • Some red chilli powder
  • ½ tspn turmeric powder
  • 1 tbspn cracked dry coriander
  • ½ tspn cumin seeds
  • ½ onion sliced
  • 2 green chillies sliced
  • Oil For Frying

Procedure:

-Combine all the ingredients except oil in a bowl and make Fine mixture.

-Keep aside For 20 – 30 minutes and heat oil.

-Take 1 tbspn of this mixture and deep Fry

-Take out on an absorbent paper and serve immediately.

Outcome:

Tasty aalu pakore are ready to be served.

-Now with a rolling pin, Flat this ball into chapatti. Spread 1 tbspn of ghee on it.

-Now roll it into blinds.

-Take one edge and Fold it with non – grease side up,

-Then Fold it with grease side top.

-On a lightly Floured surface roll it into a chapatti with a roller pin.

-After 5 – 6 seconds, turn its side and apply another tbspn of ghee on the half – cooked side.

-After 4 seconds, turn its side and apply another tbspn of ghee on it.

-Now turn he sides Frequently and when its cooked (hot red) serve it hot with lots of pickle.

Ingredients:

  • 2 apples
  • 2 bananas
  • 4 strawberries
  • 1 mandarin (Orange)(squeezed)
  • 1 tspn chaat masala
  • ½ pineapple sliced
  • 125 ml. canned chickpeas or ½ cup boiled chickpeas
  • 4 dates sliced

Procedure:

-Slice all the Fruits nicely and combine them in a deep mixing bowl.

-In a separate bowl mix 1 tspn of chaat masala with mandarin juice.

-Introduce this mixture to the Fruit Bowl and mix well.

-Keep aside For 20 minutes and serve.

Outcome:

Tasty Fruit chaat is ready to be served.

Paratha dough

30 tbspns desi ghee*(For 10 Parathas)

Procedure:

-Divide Dough into ten equal portions.

-Take one and make a kiwi Fruit sized ball, roll it like a chapatti and spread one tbspn of ghee on it. Now very gently, Roll this wrap into a snake, Folding ghee side in.

-Now with your hands roll this snake and make a thin, big snake.

-Turn Frequently until its golden brown and then take it out in a plate.

-So the same with rest of 9.

Sevayyan (Sawayyan) (Vermicelli Pudding)(without Khoya)

Ingredients:

  • ½ pk of thin sevayyan (Vermicelli)
  •  ¾ cup sugar or to taste
  • 10 cups milk
  • 1 cup sliced pistachios and almonds
  • 4 sultanas
  • ½ tspn cardamom seeds
  • Some sliced pistachios and almonds For garnishing

Procedure:

-Boil cardamom seeds and sultanas in milk and add vermicelli and nuts.

-Stir Frequently until the vermicelli is boiled and mixed in milk.

-Pour this in a deep bowl and garnish with some pistachios and almonds.

-Refrigerate.

-Scoop and serve.
