Pina Colada

One of the famous beach drinks made with coconut milk and tropical twist (pineapple) ……

  • 1 large can Coconut milk
  • 1 ltr. Golden circle pineapple juice
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Some whipped cream
  • Some chopped pineapple
  • Some shredded coconut (dried/ fresh)


-Combine coconut milk, pineapple juice and crushed ice in a cocktail mixing jug and mix.

-Take 4 cocktail glasses and fill ¾ of each one of them with the drink.

-Put some whipped cream on top, garnish with some pineapple chunks and shredded coconut and serve.

Sikanjvi/ Shikanjvi/ Limu Paani/ Home Made Lemonade

  • 1.5 ltr. Water
  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • 2 large sized limes (sqeezed)
  • 1 tspn salt/ 1 tbspn salt
  • 1 tbspn sugar/ 1 tspn sugar


-Squeeze lime juice on a pro citrus juicer. Discard the residue and keep the juice. Add some salt and sugar in the juice and mix well.

-Take some water in a bottle or a jug and introduce this lime mixture to it. Close the cap of the bottle tightly leaving some space between the water and the lid. Shake well.

-Put some crushed ice into 6 glasses and pour this mixture into each glass.

-Top each glass with a mint leaf and serve chilled.

Mango Lassi

Mango Lassi is an Indian drink which is full of flavor, freshness and energy. Mango is also known as “King of Fruits” in South Asia because Mangoes found here are very sweet and they have a different taste. They are different than Australian mangoes, Mexican mangoes and Thai Mangoes. In Pakistan, Mangoes from the city of Multan are very famous for their taste and sweetness. People of South Asia love Summer season just because of mangoes and they try different drinks and sweet dishes with this delicious fruit. Mango lassi is one of them.   • 250 gms plain yogurt (natural style)
  • ½ cu mango pulp or 212 gms tin mangoes
  •  ½ cup chilled water
  • 8 – 12 ice cubes
  • 1 – 2 tbspns sugar
  • 2 tbspns of greek yogurt


-Place all ingredients, except the ice cubes in a blender and shake for around 30 – 40 secs.

-Pour it into the glasses and add some ice cubes.

Hot Chocolate/ A Perfect Cup of Hot Chocolate

This recipe is the best and the easiest if you want to enjoy a perfect cup of hot chocolate without any pro equipment, at home….

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbspns hot chocolate powder
  • ¼ tspn ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 tbspns full cream
  • 1 tbspn cocoa powder (for dusting)


-Boil milk and reserve ½ cup of milk. Add cream in rest of the milk and continue boiling on very low flame. Make sure you are using non-stick milk warmer.

-In reserved ½ cup of milk mix hot chocolate powder and cinnamon. Make a uniform mixture.

-Put the milk off the flame and with an electric beater whip the milk and the cream until it is frothy.

-Divide the chocolate mixture in to two cups or mugs and pour over frothed milk.

-Top it with some cocoa powder and immediately serve hot with cookies, muffins or brownies.


Serves 2.

  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 4 cups milk
  • A pinch of saffron strands
  • 2 tbspns jasmine tea leaves
  • 1 big cardamom
  • 1 big piece of cinnamon
  • 2 cloves
  • 3 almonds
  • 4 green cardamoms crushed
  • Some salt
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 small very small drop of pink food colour (OPTIONAL)


  • Crushed or slivered almond
  • Crushed or slivered pistachios
  • Some mixed dried fruits


-In a saucepan, add all the ingredients given above except milk and for garnish and bring to a boil.

-Boil well for 10 minutes.

-Add milk and boil again.

-Strain this mixture and pour it into 4 cups.

-Place some mixed dried fruits on the saucer and garnish the tea with some crushed pistachios and almonds.


-Use full cream milk for best results.

-Avoid using salted or roasted pistachios and almonds.

-Add a very little drop of pink food colour only if desired.


This will serve 4 persons easily.
